Even today, many children do not have access to food, education, a proper place to live or adequate care. As a result, they lack opportunities to build their own dreams and lives. If you want to support us in our efforts to change this in sustainably ways and to open up opportunities for as many children as possible, please donate if you can and share this pitch
 
 
 
 
 
 
What should to come first for many children, especially the very small ones is a new, modified view and understanding on life, which many of them haven’t seen yet and don't know about it. Thanks to the loving care of the teachers and social-workers, kids of all ages can feel safe during their times of learning, playing and develop also their soft skills. In those experience in an uplifting environment, they can create and follow their own aspirations to embrace new perspectives.
 
 
Encouraged by mentors and way-showers, who often had to face the same difficulties they find themselves into right now and realize, what is now possible for them too. This makes the children even more eager to lern and understand  more, while self- confidence and the strength to overcome upcoming hurdles by them selfs. During and after this time, they are able to build their own dream and make their own future. Otherwise this couldn't happen and they would be trapped in the circle of poverty, literation and exploitation. 
 
 
 
 
 
Embedding the social community is a critical and highly important aspect. In order to ensure the respect of the villagers for the decision to educate kids in school, the questions and doubts of not only the parents but also of the community has to be answered and clarified. Convincing parents, family members and the community that literacy and equality are a benefit for their own family and community too, is essential for the success in the long-term. That is why the social workers remain in constant contact with the community and attending meetings, in wich meaningful decisions are made, issues are solved and important debates can take place.
 
 
This creates trust and the necessary basic understanding within the village community, which can open the way to education for the children. And even if the students later go to another school or learn a profession in another place, we stay in touch with the families. We stay on.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Mindset

Besides knowledge and skills, part of a proper education and development  should also be the empowerment of a healthy mindset which promotes, among other attributes, a sense of self-determination, self-confidence and self-worth. Because for many children from marginalized communities, quality school education fails, because of the prevailing situation of illiteracy, socio-economic backwardness and centuries of old caste discrimination.
 
Especially children, coming from poor families, village-communities and often also lower casts, are facing mostly lots of exclusion and rejection. With flowmapping we support them in developing mental strength as well as a fast-forward attitude while remaining positive and kind at the same time. 
 
 
 
 
 
The method flowmapping is a simple tool for independent and active change of inner perspectives and attitudes as well as outer situations in different areas of life. Since thoughts, feelings and convictions are connected with individual patterns of action and realigned in a linked context, the identification of possible show-stoppers, the localization of a new approach to action and solutions and ultimately the transformation can be facilitated.
 
 
Due to reservations and prejudices against a way of life next to old role models, children, especially girls, face many difficulties. Specifically when deciding to attend school and strive for a (more) independent, self-reliant life. Therefore, self-awareness becomes one of the most important requirements during and after attending a class.
 
 
For work with children, a social version of flowmapping offers an easy entry into meaningful and child-centred care. Furthermore, the interaction between teachers or social workers and the children as well as their parents can be improved very well to facilitate persuasion and motivation processes. This involves creating a map on a template, called an area map, that connects the status quo with the sweet spot, identifying and locating possible solutions. This can include challenges, complexes of issues and opportunities in an expanded and multi-layered overall picture that extends over several levels. External circumstances can be included, as well as individual overlays and unanswered questions or fears. The process-oriented result is the expectation of being able to address and solve internal and external challenges better than before due to individual new ways of acting and consideration processes. 
 
 
An old mindset and patriarchic believe-patterns, which say staying in the village is the best thing to do, and especially girls should remain in a very old status quo of being uneducated at home until they they get married at a young age, drive many problems. Because ignoring or denying the voice, creativity and strength of girls and women within a society results in devastating implications. Our mission is to enable children to develop their own dreams and to build up their lives based on education, care and self-determination in a sustainable way. To aim this goal we collect donations which go to projects in order to run kindergartens in Bihar and enhance existing social- facilities like early childhood-classes and trainings centers on the spots. Additionally the virtual resource hub will also be developed a notch further and be made available to the different entities of whom I've visited some in Bihar for several days in April 2023. Also, a part of the income generated by the platform will be donated to support selected projects in and outside India.
